We're excited that you're considering joining Miami's Class of 2016! We know you are on the verge of making a big decision, and we want to make it as easy as possible for you. Congratulations on your successes both past and future, and here's a brief outline of what happens next:
- Confirm your enrollment to Miami
Thank you for your interest in Miami University. The May 1 confirmation deadline has passed, and all seats are filled for the first-year class for Fall 2012. Late confirmations will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If you are still interested in confirming your enrollment for Fall 2012, please email lateconfirm@muohio.edu. Please include your full name, address, date of birth, email address, and phone number and an admission counselor will follow up with you. Thank you again for your interest in Miami University. - Select a meal plan and Living Learning Community
Complete the Residence Hall & Meal Plan Contract online no later than May 2. (For more information about meal plans and Living Learning Communities, visit Living on Campus.) - Submit medical form
Log in to Student Health Services to submit your completed medical form by May 11. (Helpful tips) - Take placement tests and attend Orientation
Placement tests must be taken no later than five days prior to attending Orientation. [Take your math and foreign language placement tests by May 7.] Attend an Orientation session and register for first-semester classes. (Sixteen day-and-a-half sessions are scheduled May 30–June 28.) - Get involved
Move to campus and get involved during Welcome Week. (Move-in day for first-year students is August 16.)
