First-Rate Facilities
- Miami has completed a number of new facilities in recent years, and significant construction and renovations projects are currently underway. In addition to a new student center, plans include four new residence halls, two new food service facilities, and an upgrade of the amenities, safety, and capacity of Miami's existing housing and dining facilities.
- In the latest student survey, 98% of students reported they were satisfied or very satisfied with university cleanliness of public spaces in Miami's residence halls and the quality of food and services. (2010)
- Since 2004, Miami has won 8 grand prizes and 14 gold awards from the National Association of College and University Food Service (NACUFS). Miami has won more NACUFS Loyal E. Horton Dining Awards—the ultimate professional tribute in college and university culinary arts—than any other university in North America. (2011)
- Wireless computing capabilities (802.11g/n) are available in all buildings on all Miami campuses as well as many "green spaces" located in common areas.
- In the latest survey assessing the quality of service and facilities among Ohio university libraries, Miami ranked among the leaders in all benchmarked areas. (2010)
