ANSWER
The quarterly Western-Oxford, a joint venture of Seminary students and alumnae, was first published in January 1893. Gradually its content evolved from reprints of commencement speeches, accounts of social events and news from alumnae chapters to student fiction, essays and poetry. The first issue of Round-Up, the weekly newspaper familiar to most alumnae, came out in September 1931. (Western Focus is the current in-house newsletter of the Western College Program).
