Time for
the Meily Society Luncheon! The Class of '59 is
honored, they practice the proper WAVE, and all in
attendance join in singing "Miss Peabody." Returning
faculty member Ernie Weissenborn was called upon to pick
the winning door prize ticket and promptly drew the name
of his wife, Anne Adkins Weissenborn '61. Later in the
afternoon, Anne helped lead the discussion with Dean
Hoyt of her memoir, Where
the Peonies Bloomed. A tour of newly renovated
Presser Hall and reception -- complete with chamber
music -- preceded the Celebration Banquet at the
Shriver Center, where Ben
Gibbons '94 gave WCP alums pins in recognition of
their becoming friends of the WCAA, and
John Simmons FF shared
reminiscences.
