Reunion
Weekend was a great time for over 150 alums, family and
friends. Westerners returned to Oxford from as far away as
Japan and Iran, and represented classes ranging from 1939
to 2005! Opening with the Friday evening reception on
Clawson Patio and closing with the Sunday morning
gathering at Kumler, the weekend was a time of renewing
old friendships and beginning new ones, laughing and
crying, learning and loafing and, overall, finding that
Westerners have much in common around the world and across
the years.
We will do it again next year so talk to your friends and
ALL come to a GRAND WESTERN party -- June 16-18, 2006! |
REUNION GIFT
The 2005 Reunion Gift will aid Western students doing
research on our environment. Our goal is $40,000; by the
Saturday banquet, over $30,000 had been contributed!
