A generous
gift from the Ross Foundation has allowed Miami
University Libraries to digitize the Western Round-Up,
further preserving the entire collection (published
1930-1971) and making it accessible to users via the
Internet in the Western College Memorial Archives. There are 40 volumes (795 issues) in the
collection, which was transferred to microfilm during
the 1990s in order to preserve the original newspapers,
all of which are housed at the WCMA, Peabody Hall, and
available to the public in that form. To date, 731
issues (through 1/28/66) are online. The project, begun
in early June 2006, is expected to be completed by the
