| WHAT'S
NEW AT THE MIAMI UNIVERSITY ALUMNI ASSOCIATION |
Happy New Year!
With 2008 now upon us I encourage you to make the following resolution: Connect back to Miami or strengthen your connection - become a dues-paying member, attend a local chapter event, get on the alumni association web page and reconnect with fellow classmates to say hi, cheer on the RedHawks, or in some other way reengage with alma mater. It's a decision you won't regret, especially as we prepare to celebrate the university's Bicentennial.
With the Bicentennial celebration just a year away, we are pleased to provide you the opportunity to experience various aspects of Miami history. Oral histories from groups and individuals with importance to Miami are now available to the public through the digital collection, the Miami Stories Oral History Project.
The oral history project was established as a permanent program of the Miami University Libraries and operates out of the University Archives through the Department of Special Collections and Archives. You can access the collection at http://digital.lib.muohio.edu/miamistories.
Watch the calendar for upcoming events, including a visit by President Hodge to California and Middletown, Ohio, and a very special opportunity for Cincinnati alumni to celebrate their Miami ties at a Reds baseball day on April 20. Details for these and other events will be on the website, and in your mailbox soon.
