WHAT'S NEW AT THE MIAMI UNIVERSITY ALUMNI ASSOCIATION |

Now is the time to make plans to join us in Sanibel, Fla., this February for Winter College. One of our most popular programs, Winter College puts you back in the classroom with Miami faculty, and allows you to enjoy the amenities of the beautiful Sanibel Harbor Resort. This year’s featured speaker is Miami graduate Bill Sammon, White House correspondent for the Washington Times. Bill has been nominated for the Pulitzer Prize, and will provide fascinating insight into the political process in this important election year. Visit our Winter College website today to find out how you can be part of this wonderful weekend. Registration for Winter College 2008 begins in December. For regular updates and to receive the registration brochure in early December click here or email Brian Breittholz at breittbe@muohio.edu.
Your Miami RedHawks continue to excel. With the men's hockey team ranked #1 in the nation, and the football team primed for a run at the MAC championship, it's a great time to show your spirit! Join fellow alumni at game watching parties for the Miami - Akron football game on November 14. Check the athletic events web site for parties near you.
You are also encouraged to follow our basketball programs - the women tip off the NIT tournament this Friday at South Bend, facing Notre Dame. Game time is 9 p.m., and your support can make the difference. The men begin their season with a home game vs. local rival Xavier on Tuesday, November 13. Let’s show our Miami pride and turn out the red and white!
