WHAT'S NEW AT THE MIAMI UNIVERSITY ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

March Madness!

It's that time of year again, when sports championships dominate water cooler conversation and getting in a pool doesn't mean getting wet. I hope you are ready to cheer on your RedHawks as they chase league and NCAA championships over the course of the next month. Your Alumni Association is partnering with the Red and White Club to host pregame gatherings at the MAC Basketball Tournament in Cleveland and the CCHA Hockey Tournament in Detroit. The men's basketball tournament events are scheduled to take place 90 minutes prior to tipoff at Quicken Loans Arena.

Please visit the Alumni Athletic Events webpage to get the latest postseason updates on your RedHawks, as well as more information on the pregame events.

For those looking forward to outdoor sports, plan a trip to Oxford on March 23 to be on hand for the opening of the new Miami Softball Field, where the RedHawks will host Big Ten foe Purdue University. The first 200 fans will receive a commemorative gift.

Finally, special congratulations to the Miami University Student Foundation (MUSF) on the occasion of its 35th anniversary. Visit the MUSF Alumni Website for information about the celebration weekend over April 20-21, which coincides with MUSF's annual triathlon. If you or someone you know wants to participate in the triathlon, which is open to all, visit MUSF Triathlon website for details.

GO MIAMI!
