$3 million gift from Richard and Jill Chaifetz launches Chaifetz Trading Center for Farmer School of Business
A $3 million gift from Dr. Richard Chaifetz and Jill Barclay Chaifetz through their Chaifetz Foundation will establish the Chaifetz Trading Center at Miami's new Farmer School of Business building.

The excitement of the Miami University Campaign For Love and Honor continues to spread.
Herche gift seeks to build capabilities in minority entrepreneurship
A gift from one of Miami University's trustees and his wife is designed to enhance the teaching of entrepreneurship at the university. David and Vicki Herche of Cincinnati have committed $1 million to establish an endowed assistant professor chair within the Miami University Entrepreneurship Institute.

Miami honored for excellence in online teaching and learning
Miami has received a 2007 Sloan-C Effective Practice Award from the Sloan Consortium, an association of more than 1,200 higher education institutions and organizations engaged in online learning.
Miami accountancy among best in nation
Miami University's undergraduate program in accountancy is ranked 11th in the Public Accounting Report's 26th Annual Survey of Accounting Professors (up from 12th last year). It ranked third among schools that do not have a doctoral program; only those at Brigham Young and Notre Dame were higher.

Christmas Markets Along the Danube - 2007
